OUR MISSION

… is to educate primary and mental health care providers

about HIV infection, including prevention, diagnosis, treatment

and psychosocial issues.


WHAT WE DO…

  • Provide timely updates to health care professionals on treatments

    and care issues for HIV-infected clients

  • Provide information about state HIV programs and resources
  • Serve as a resource for New Mexico’s health professions schools
  • Provide individualized clinical education experience
  • Teach health care professionals to share their expertise

    with peers

NMAETC PROGRAMS

number in Albuquerque is 272-8443.

  • Clinical Education – Individualized clinical mini sabbatical

    experiences can be arranged in Albuquerque and Santa Fe.

  • Clinical Team Outreach – This state-funded program provides

    clinically focused education and consultation in your community.

    These services are provided by teams of clinical professionals

    with extensive HIV patient care experience.

  • Program Development and Presentation – The staff at NMAETC

    has considerable experience in setting up didactic programs including

    workshops, in-services, conferences, and educator training. We

    can help arrange speakers and continuing education credits for

    programs in your facility.
